This piece combines the enduring heritage of early 20th-century French workwear with the expanded utility of classic European hunting coats. Traditionally crafted from dense, wind-resistant moleskin to protect factory workers and farmers, the French chore coat  earned its iconic status through durability and functionality.

We elevated the classic three-pocket layout by adding field-coat elements: a western-yoke wraparound pocket for extra storage, flap cover chest pocket to secure everyday small essentials, and a throat latch that seals out cold draughts when popped. The fabric is dense cotton moleskin, featuring a brushed surface that creates a soft nap, trapping air to provide natural insulation and warmth.
